Hi there,
My name is Courtney Davis, I founded Able U in 2019. I hold qualifications in both Disability and Aged Care.
As mum to Master "N" (ASD, ADHD, Dyslexic) and sister to Mr "N" (Multiple Sclerosis) I know all too well the challenges of finding an amazing support provider that you can trust and rely on for consistent quality service delivery, as well as navigating the complex NDIS system.
MY MISSION
My mission is to ensure that all Able U participants feel appreciated, valued and important, not only by their support worker but by management.
With over 10 years experience working in Aged and Disability services and many more with lived experience, I am incredibly passionate about helping NDIS participants achieve their goals. I enjoy working collaboratively with participants and their care teams to ensure the best possibly outcome.
MY VISION
My vision for Able U is to always be a provider that puts quality delivery of services before growth. It is important to me that I always have good rapport with each and every Able U participants and a sound insight into their service delivery. I do this by remaining a smaller provider that focuses on eliminating any risk of disconnect from participant to senior management. I manage all participants service delivery myself to ensure that I can identify any areas for improvement. Participants always have a direct line of contact with me and know that I have a sound understanding of the support they receive.
Disability Support Workers
In addition to Courtney working direct with clients on a regular basis, Able U have a great team of support workers holding relevant industry qualifications. These qualification vary from Disability, Aged Care, Education Support, Counselling, Psychology, Leisure and Lifestyle and many more. In addition each support worker has completed their NDIS Worker Induction and Orientation Modules and hold the following:
We acknowledge that participant / support worker relationship is just one of the many aspects to quality service delivery, therefore workers are recommended to participants based on qualification, experience and personality. All participants are given the opportunity to choose their support worker based on the profile provided. We never dictate or assume that one particular worker is right for you.
